Importance of transparency and proactive communication in negative situations
Differences in expectations, religion, values, etcetera will inevitably lead to conflict. While they are the source of strength and growth in any school membership, leaders must always be prepared to address the conflict in ways that lead to growth rather than division.
Diverse educational programs are sought by families seeking to provide their children with successful entry into adulthood. These diverse beliefs lead to conflict in areas where expectations are unclear. Successful administrators establish clear boundaries for behaviors, keep open communication in a safe environment and are transparent and proactive regarding any area of conflict.
